Remember, quarter panels are necessary for your vehicle’s overall structural integrity. Welding or otherwise adjusting damaged steel on such an integral component of your car is generally risky and may result in a subpar panel that can’t support your car or truck’s rear weight.
It’s best practice to simply get your quarter panel(s) replaced if they become damaged in an accident or other hazards. Plus, new quarter panels will look a lot better than ones that have an opportunity to be hastily repaired or welded back into shape.
